Book: The darkest minds Author: Alexandra Bracken Genre: Science fiction + Thriller Age: 13+ Review: I just finished reading The Darkest Minds and it was a particularly good book. It's about how all the kids in America died except for small percent and those that survive end up with one of five different abilities. The government is after all these remaining kids and the main character, escapes imprisonment and is on the run. I really liked this book it had an amazing cliff hanger and I am currently reading the second one in the trilogy. The only thing I can fault is some scenes were a but hard to visualise, I could have used some more descriptions though I know some people prefer less descriptions. Also the ending made me cry, a lot. I was already pretty emotional and tired when I was reading the end of it though, most people probably didn't find it that sad. |

I have thought about this for a while now and in the hopes of commiting to doing this, I am going to write about what I'm thinking. So I am going to be reading some more classical books in the hopes of furthering my extent of writing knowledge, I don't actually particularly know, mainly because it sounds like it will be good for me. I plan to read weathuring heights, romeo and Juliet, some ernest hemingway and maybe so poetry. I've already bought Ernest Hemingways collection of short stories and that is the next book I am going to be reading. Untill next time future self.
